Carotene Calcium Blocks | Colour Support | Mineral Supplement for Shrimp & Snails
BSS™ Carotene Calcium Blocks are a mineral-rich grazing supplement designed to support strong shells, healthy molting, colour development and overall vitality in shrimp and snails. Each block combines essential calcium with beta-carotene, a naturally occurring pigment widely used in aquatic nutrition to support vibrant natural colouring and general wellbeing.
The blocks gradually soften and dissolve in the aquarium, allowing shrimp and snails to graze naturally over time. They provide an accessible source of calcium alongside carotene-based supplementary nutrition to support healthy development, activity and natural colour intensity. Each block can last for up to approximately 7 days depending on stocking levels, grazing activity and aquarium conditions.
