Salt Lake Brine Shrimp Eggs  are a top choice for breeders and hobbyists alike. With a 90% hatch rate, they're packed with the high-protein nutrition your fry need to thrive. The eggs are rigorously batch-tested to ensure performance and freshness. Perfect for feeding fry, juvenile fish, and picky eaters. These Grade A Artemia from the Great Salt Lake offer unmatched nutrition, high hatch rates, and fast hatch times. Once hatched, baby brine shrimp (nauplii) swim actively, which naturally triggers a feeding response in fish. Their constant movement makes them highly visible and irresistible to fry. At under 0.5 mm in size, they are perfectly suited to tiny mouths, offering nutrient-rich food source that supports rapid growth and strong development.

Hatching Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Water: Use up to 2g of eggs with 25-30g of salt (NaCl, no additives) per litre of water. No need for dechlorinator—chlorine helps soften egg shells.
  2. Set the Conditions: Maintain a temperature of ~28°C with constant light. Adjust pH to 8.0-8.5 by adding 1.5g of Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda) per litre of water.
  3. Aerate: Use gentle aeration to keep the eggs suspended. A small aquarium air pump works well.
  4. Hatch: Under ideal conditions, nauplii hatch within 24-36h with up to 90% success. If conditions vary, allow up to 48 h. Suitable even for simple home setups.
  5. Harvest: Separate the egg from the nauplii using fine mesh nets (80-200 micron) or attract them with a light source and collect via pipette.

Storage:

Keep tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Use within 6 months of opening. For long-term storage (up to 2 years), refrigerate or freeze. Note: Lower temperatures may affect moisture levels and reduce hatch performance over time.

Safety:

Not for human consumption. Keep away from children—small parts may pose a choking hazard. Contains a silica gel sachet. Regularly test your water parameters for best results.
